Went with the kids. the family areas made things a lot easier. Handy to have. Took some of the stress out of the day.

I personally found the layout a bit confusing in some areas, and it felt kind of messy to me. The signs did help, though, so I was still able to get where I needed to go eventually

I used manchesterairport.co.uk before I flew out to check parking and terminal info. I was half expecting to get lost in loads of pages, or maybe I’m just bad at airport websites, but it was actually quite straightforward. The pages loaded quickly and I found what I needed without clicking around forever.

The flight info was clear, and the maps were easy enough to follow too, at least from what I could tell. Booking parking was simple as well, with no odd steps or confusing forms. I wouldn’t say I studied every bit of the site, so maybe I missed something, but for what I needed it was smooth overall...

The airport itself was fine overall, but the shuttle bus was kind of hit and miss. One showed up quickly when I first arrived, but on the way back I ended up waiting a lot longer than I expected. It wasn’t a total disaster, but I definitely wouldn’t count on it if you’re in a hurry. What made it more frustrating was asking about the wait and feeling like I was being talked down to, like I should’ve already known how it worked. Not awful, just not the most reliable or welcoming experience.

When I needed help for my mum, the support was there, which I really appreciated. It did take a bit more effort than I expected to get things sorted, and I felt like I had to chase a few times, but in the end they did help when it mattered.

I grabbed something to eat before my flight and there were actually a decent number of food and coffee places to choose from. Prices were a bit ridiculous, but that’s airport life, I guess. I don’t have much patience for long lines, so I was relieved the queues moved fairly quickly and I found something quick and tasty. Only annoying part was the lack of seating around the food area.

Overall, it was okay, but I personally felt the parking was more expensive than it should’ve been. It kind of stood out to me and took away from the experience a bit.

I felt a bit misled by how the airport experience was made out to be way more convenient than it actually was, but at least the toilets were easy to find and clean. There wasn’t a long queue either, which made things a little less stressful when I really needed them.

Booked parking through Manchester Airport and, to be fair, it was reasonable compared with a few other options I checked. It wasn’t exactly the bargain of the century, but it was easy enough to sort and nothing major went wrong on the day. I took the train and it dropped me right at the airport, which made the whole trip way less stressful. it felt like the sensible and responsible choice too, no worrying about traffic, parking, or adding another car to the road when the train worked perfectly fine

Terminal was cleaner than I expected. Bathrooms had what they needed and the floors looked fine. Some bins near the gates were overflowing a bit, but staff seemed to be handling it. Overall, not bad.

There were spaces available, but not as much choice as I expected, and the cheaper options seemed to have already gone. I ended up picking a car park a bit further out than I’d have liked. On the day it all worked fine and the bus was okay, but based on this latest experience, I do think availability could be better, especially during busy periods.

I went through Manchester Airport on a Friday morning and thought I’d be standing around for ages, but there were actually plenty of seats near my gate. Some parts were definitely busy, but if I walked a bit further along, I could usually find somewhere to sit, maybe I was just lucky, but it felt better than I expected.

Stopped by the lounge before my flight and it was fine overall. It was clean enough, but the food options felt limited, and it got a bit crowded in there. The staff were friendly, which helped, but for what it costs, I guess I just expected more from it. Not terrible or anything, just kind of one of those okay experiences.

Security was much faster than I expected this morning. I’d given myself extra time just in case, which I still think was the sensible thing to do, but I barely had to queue at all.

My first impression was that the staff seemed genuinely friendly, and I had a good feeling they’d point me in the right direction. They helped me find the desk I needed, which I appreciated. The only downside was that I ended up waiting around longer than expected, so the experience wasn’t quite as smooth as it could’ve been.

I landed at Manchester expecting the usual long wait, but my suitcase was already on the carousel not long after I got to baggage reclaim. The whole process was smooth and I was out of the airport faster than I expected, which was a nice surprise after a late flight. I did think the signs or instructions could’ve been a bit clearer, but overall it was a good experience

My flight was delayed, which was obviously annoying, but the staff actually handled it well. I wasn’t expecting much, so it was a nice surprise that they kept things moving and got everyone sorted without making it worse.
